Rhymes day nurseries are at Martlesham and Kesgrave. Our pre-schools are at Martlesham and Kesgrave.

So with the needs of very young children in mind, our day care nurseries and pre-school settings provide a safe, friendly and homely environment, where your child can feel at home, happy and secure.

Each Rhymes setting:

• Is planned to meet the needs of babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers in their own special areas
• Is staffed by highly qualified and dedicated professionals
• Provides an individually tailored learning and development programme for all ages
• Places an emphasis on healthy, balanced nutrition and physical exercise
• Works closely with Ofsted and the early years team at Suffolk County Council to ensure that we are constantly up to date and improving our care

Well-developed knowledge of each child's individual needs ensures all children have the opportunity to be independent and active learners. Sensitive, caring staff have developed trusting relationships with children and are deployed well to support their welfare and learning. Individual needs are carefully respected and met using information from parents which promotes a fully inclusive environment. Effective and practical systems are in place to ensure regular communication between the setting and other provisions. The manager and staff have effectively evaluated all areas of the provision identifying specific areas for improvement.

The nursery provides very effectively for children in the Early Years Foundation stage. The environment is carefully created to provide a welcoming, safe and stimulating place where children have fun as they learn through play both indoors and out. Due to the successful implementation of a key person system, the staff know the children very well and they are treated as individuals. They work well alongside parents to provide consistent and inclusive practice. The setting has some systems in place to ensure that staff have the opportunities to reflect on their practice, evaluating and monitoring, always working to improve their quality practice further.
